| Many
people confuse underground oil tanks with underground
gasoline tanks. Gasoline tanks need to be replaced
periodically because gasoline contains benzene, a
corrosive element that can damage its tank. Heating
oil does not contain benzene.
In
the unlikely event of an underground leak, heating
oil is non-toxic, bio-degradable, and non-carcinogenic.
Even so, the location of other property features,
such as wells and septic tanks need to be taken into
consideration when installing an underground oil tank.
Our tank installation experts will help you evaluate
your property to determine its suitability for an
underground oil tank.
