Just as oil heat has changed, so have oil tanks!

Oil tanks are safe and convenient! Studies show that less than 0.25% of all heating oil tanks ever experience a leak.

Keep in mind, however that metal tanks are susceptible to decay due to dampness and humidity, and will eventually need to be replaced.
