| Like the tires on your car, all oil tanks will eventually need to be replaced.
Affordably priced at $40 per year, our Tank Protection Plan is like putting money in the bank for that replacement, only better!
Here's how it works:
The Plan covers replacement of standard 275-gallon aboveground oil tanks (like the one shown below), including those installed in basements and garages. Once covered, Tevis will replace the tank when it shows signs of leaking, or a strong potential of leaking.
If the tank needs to be replaced during the first year of coverage, the tank owner pays $800 toward replacment costs. If the tank needs to be replaced in the second year of coverage, the owner pays $600 toward replacement costs. After the second year of coverage, the Plan covers the total cost of replacement.
If the tank owner wishes to replace their standard tank with a ZCL or Roth tank, the replacement cost of a standard tank will be applied toward their ZCL or Roth replacement.
Upon enrollment, there is a 90-day waiting period before tank coverage goes into effect. If there is any sign of tank leakage prior to or during that 90-day period, the tank cannot be covered under this plan, and the $40 fee would be refunded.
The current cost to replace a standard 275-gallon steel oil tank is approximately $1500. With tank protection, this is a cost you will never have to face in full, should your tank need to be replaced while covered under this plan!

Outdoor installation
Because of the outstanding protective qualities of T2000, a fortifier which is present in all Tevis heating oil, plan participants are required to be on automatic delivery.
