Insufficient
Heating or Cooling
Furnaces,
Heat Pumps and Air Conditioners:

Check
the air filters, as dirty filters will restrict
airflow. |

Air
filters are normally inside the furnace blower
compartment. |
| |
Air
filters may be in the main return duct next to
your furnace. |
| |
Some
systems may have an electronic or media air filter
that only needs cleaning every six months. |

Check
for blocked supply or return registers. Furniture
or other items in front of or over registers can
restrict airflow. |
Hot
Water Boilers:

Systems
with radiators may become air bound, not allowing
heat to rise. |

Bleed
the radiators using a radiator key. (Ask a Modern
Comfort Systems technician to show you how during
your next system
tune-up visit. |

baseboard and radiant systems can also become
