| Propane
is one of today’s safest, cleanest and most
versatile fuels. Because new propane equipment is
up to 95% efficient, it’s affordable too, especially
when you factor in the energy savings when propane
appliances are used in place of electric appliances.
For example, propane will heat domestic hot water
for about 1/2 the energy cost of an electric hot water
heater! The recovery time is faster with propane too.
Versatility
Propane can be used in more places around your home than any other fuel.

Safety
Propane has an excellent safety record. In conjunction
with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA),
the propane industry has developed its own set of
very stringent codes and regulations, and is considered
to be one of the safest ways to heat your home.

Propane
must be mixed with air to ignite, however it
will not ignite with a mixture containing
less than 2.14% propane, or more than 9.6% propane.
These conditions are rarely met outside of a properly-operating
propane appliance. |
 |
Propane
gas is non-toxic and produces minimal emissions. |
