Automatic
Delivery
All our propane customers enjoy the convenience of
our automatic delivery service.
This
eliminates the inconvenience and guesswork of watching
your own fuel gauge, predicting your fuel needs, and
the possibility of running out of fuel at the worst
possible time.
With
automatic delivery, we watch outdoor temperature
using the industry-standard “degree
days,” weather forecasts,
and your actual household consumption
(or “K factor”) to schedule your next
delivery.
Every
home is unique. There are many factors that affect
your fuel consumption: the size of your home, the
number of propane appliances, the frequency of their
use, equipment efficiency, personal habits, etc. These
and other factors are used to calculate your home’s
“K factor.” Three deliveries is usually
enough to establish a reliable K factor. Until then
we’ll take a very conservative approach to your
fuel delivery to ensure that you don’t run out
of fuel.
Please
call us if you make any changes
that could affect your fuel consumption.
If
you heat your entire home with propane and run out
of fuel because we failed to properly schedule your
delivery, we will waive the GasCheck fee.
Gauges
on propane tanks indicate the percentage of liquid
propane in the tank. The product that travels through
the lines and is ignited in your furnace or appliance
is propane in it gaseous state. The space above the
liquid propane is filled with propane gas and is necessary
for the system to operate properly. As such, we never
fill a propane tank to 100%.

This
gauge reads 70% full of liquid propane.
