| What
is Biodiesel?
Biodiesel
is a clean-burning alternative fuel produced from
domestic, renewable resources, such as plant and animal fats.
Biodiesel contains no petroleum, but it can be blended
at any percentage with petroleum diesel, including
home heating oil, to create a biodiesel blend. When blended with heating oil, it is called BIOHEAT.

Biodiesel
biodegrades at the same rate as refined sugar, and
is less “toxic” than table salt, making
it extremely safe to handle.
With
broader use, biodiesel can help support our nation’s
farmers and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.
