Tevis office staff score their drivers a "perfect 10"!
WESTMINSTER – On Thursday, August 21, Tevis Oil and its employees celebrated their first annual Safety Day with a variety of fun activities designed to increase every employee’s awareness of Tevis’ safety practices. Taking full advantage of a spectacular summer day, employees each participated in a safety scavenger hunt where they were guided throughout the Tevis fuel plant to find and learn about more than a dozen of its safety features.
After a casual picnic lunch, employees cheered on as Tevis drivers demonstrated their skills in a Driver Rodeo. Drivers we judged on their accuracy driving a fuel truck backward and forward though an obstacle course, and parallel parking.
The first place winner of the event was Sterling Watson of Westminster, who received tickets and a parking pass to an Orioles game. Runners up were Roger Yost of Littlestown, PA; Rob Harbison of Hanover, PA; John Wisner of Westminster; and Malden Miller of Hampstead.
Tevis plans to make this an annual event for its employees. |
