Tevis Honors its Safe Drivers

On Wednesday, March 8, 2006 Tevis Oil held its Annual Safety Awards Dinner at Bullocks Family Restaurant, where a total of 25 employees were awarded U.S. savings bonds for one or more years of incident-free driving.

Recognized for three or more consecutive years of safe driving were: Kirk Becker, Ed Bitzel, Craig Fleischer, James Haschert, Clark Hill, Paul Mason, Carroll Neudecker, Larry Neudecker, Norman Rill, Til Shamer, Denny Smith, Matt Smith, Don Spangler, Barry Stocksdale, Edie Thomas, Lee Watson, and Sterling Watson. For two consecutive years, awards were given to Paul Baugher and Barry Carver; and for one year: Vince Baseman, Louie Fisher, Brian Feidler, Malden Miller, Tim Rose, and Mike Smith.

Each of these drivers were also entered into one of three drawings during the evening. Malden Miller won the drawing among full-time drivers; Lee Walsh won among part-time and seasonal drivers, and Ed Bitzel won among office, sales, and administrative staff.

In addition to honoring Tevis employees with safe driving records, the purpose of the Safety Awards Dinner is to promote safe driving, both on- and off-the-job.
