Tevis Recognizes Long-Time Employees and Welcomes New

January 25, 2006 -- S.H. Tevis & Son, the parent company of Tevis Oil, Modern Comfort Systems, Walsh Fuel, and Jiffy Mart convenience stores recently recognized seventeen employees for "milestone" anniversaries with the Company.
Celebrating 45 years of employment: Charles Tracey, driver (Walsh Fuel); 25 years: Alan Sonnenleiter (CFO); 20 years: Edith "Edie" Thomas, Russell Stonesifer, Ralph Dubs Jr., and Joseph White; 15 years: Deborah Peterson; 10 years: Gloria Flanagan, and Wanda Walter; and 5 years: Dianne Bennett, Larry Neudecker, Matthew Smith, Donald Spangler, Wayne Canaday, James Haschert, Anne McKibben, Nancy Harrell, and Natalie Foley.
Jack Tevis, President & CEO of S.H. Tevis and Son said, "I appreciate these people for both their hard work and years of service. They each play an important role in Tevis' ability to serve its customers."
In addition, Tevis Oil recently hired Ed Welch, Delivery Operations Manager, as well as the following new delivery drivers: Bill Rock, Richard Chembars, Joshua Miller, Roger Yost, Carroll Gesell, as well as helper, Joshua George.

Tevis Oil's sister company, Modern Comfort Systems, also hired nine HVAC technicians, including: Jeffrey Beam, C R Woodworth, John Jones, Josh Yochim, Willie Gibson, Bart Bowles, Wayne Burton, Dean DeMarco, and Robert Redifer.
S.H. Tevis and Son employs 275 people at several locations in Carroll County, and one in Baltimore County.
